Ford F-150
Entirely revised and redesigned for 2009, Ford's full-size F-150 truck remains the best-selling vehicle in America, although its domination of the market is greatly compromised by oil prices. But with this new generation, it is better equipped to deal with a different market. The automaker's data indicates that its 5.4-litre V8's fuel consumption has been improved by 8% by using an injection-cutting system during deceleration. Moreover, it runs at 525 rpm when idle.
