The 500e is the most affordable electric vehicle in Canada, but just like its gas-powered forebearer, it continues to be a niche product as evidenced by the low sales figures. This is a city car through and through, with no more than 227 km of range and less than 120 horsepower on tap. Needless to say performance is not what this EV is about. As for charging, six hours are enough using a 240V power source.
