The Dodge Avenger comes with either a 2.4-litre, four-cylinder engine that is good for 173 horsepower, or a 3.6-litre V6 that provides a healthy 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Base models are saddled with a four-speed automatic, but all other editions come with a six-speed autobox.
