Chevrolet Traverse
Refreshed in 2013, the Traverse drives into 2015 mostly unchanged. This XL-sized crossover offers plenty of room, with seats for seven or eight people, depending on configuration. All versions feature GM’s direct-injected 3.6L V6, rated at 281 horsepower (288 horsepower in the LTZ, thanks to a less restrictive double exhaust). The six-speed automatic transmission is paired with standard front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is optional. The big Traverse is an alternative to full-size SUVs like the Tahoe.
