Chevrolet Sonic
The Aveo’s contract is up, and the spunky Sonic has stolen the limelight as Chevrolet’s new sub-compact. Sold as a sedan or hatchback, it is sure to garner attention with its motorcycle-inspired instrument cluster. The more affordable versions of the Sonic come with the same 1.8L engine as the now-defunct Saturn Astra, while the LTZ is equipped with a turbocharged engine. The turbo should be the more popular choice.
