Chevrolet Malibu
Unlike Ford and Chrysler, Chevrolet continues to offer a midsize sedan. The current (ninth) generation of the Malibu has been around since 2016, and there are no major changes for 2022. Although the hybrid option is no more, the Malibu can still be had with a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine (LS, RS and LT models) or a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder (Premier). The latter generates 250 horsepower along with 260 pound-feet of torque.
