Chevrolet Malibu
The Malibu benefits from a total redesign, with new styling, a more spacious interior and fuel-efficient powertrains. According to Chevrolet, the new midsize Malibu is 300 lbs. lighter than the previous generation, while the base powertrain consists of a 160-horsepower, turbocharged 1.5-litre 4-cylinder. A 250-horsepower, turbo 2.0-litre four is optional, as is a hybrid powertrain that produces 182 horsepower and fuel economy as low as 4.9 L/100 km. The previous-generation Malibu is still on sale, now called the Malibu Limited.
