Chevrolet Equinox
Introduced for 2018, the current Equinox is a comfortable and spacious compact SUV that could use a more spirited engine. The turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder under the hood generates a modest 175 horsepower and struggles to get the vehicle going with authority. The transmission has six gears only, whereas the GMC Terrain’s boasts nine. Manually selectable all-wheel drive is another outdated feature on the Equinox. Safety content has been updated for 2024, though.
