The Chevrolet Equinox EV is a totally different vehicle from the conventionally powered Equinox and rides on a dedicated electric platform. It houses an 85kWh battery. The entry-level model comes with front-wheel drive only, develops 213 hp and offers 513 km of range in ideal conditions. Selecting all-wheel drive gives customers more power (288 hp) but shorter range (459 km). The Equinox EV has a maximum DC fast charging capability of 150 kW.
