The Chevrolet Cruze is the first truly competitive compact sedan offered by General Motors in over 20 years. Frugal at the fuel pump, the Cruze starts out with a 138 horsepower 1.8-litre four-cylinder mill, which can be upgraded to a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque while delivering even better fuel economy. Six-speed manual and automatic transmissions are available on the front-wheel drive only Chevrolet Cruze.
