Buick Encore GX
With the standard Encore not returning for 2023, the slightly bigger Encore GX effectively becomes Buick’s new entry-level crossover. Under the hood, the company offers a choice of two turbocharged engines with just three cylinders each. The base 1.2-litre unit generates 137 horsepower through a continuously variable transmission. Alternatively, the Encore GX can pack a 1.3-litre mill paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. This one delivers 155 horsepower and comes with AWD.
