BMW XM
The XM’s polarizing looks may give some people nightmares, but make no mistake: this is an amazingly potent SUV. The plug-in hybrid system under the body generates 644 horsepower or 738 horsepower depending on the trim level and enables 50 km of pure electric range. Meanwhile, handling is so good you’ll forget it weighs 2,750 kg. Credit goes to the active roll bars, torque vectoring in the rear and four-wheel steering technology. Oh, and the interior is pretty remarkable, too.
