Fiat Unveils Five Panda-Inspired Concepts, Colour Us Intrigued
We have no idea about its capabilities, but if you thought the Hyundai Santa Cruz had a tiny cargo bed, you might want to revise your definition.

City Car
A sort of “Mega-Panda,” this first concept was inspired by the brand’s birthplace: the iconic Lingotto building in Turin with its famous rooftop test track. Interestingly, Fiat aims to make plugging and unplugging easier with a “self-winding cable.”

Inside, the oval shape of the rooftop test track has influenced some of the aspects of the new model’s interiors, from the dashboard to the display and seats.

Pick-up
Fiat is the market leader in South America and the Strada pick-up is the best-selling vehicle on the Brazilian market. This new concept blends the body style of a pick-up with the functionality of an LCV and the comfort of a SUV in a size that is suitable to urban environments.

Fastback
An heir to two of the brand’s biggest hits, namely the Fiat Fastback in Brazil and the Fiat Tipo in the Middle East and Africa, this fastback aims to follow in their footsteps and establish itself at a global level in Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and even Europe.

Fiat sees it as a sporty and youthful alternative to the many SUVs out there.

SUV
The fourth concept is a spacious SUV, or a sort of “Giga-Panda” if you prefer. The stretched body provides more cargo room and versatility for families.

Camper
The last concept is hailed as the ultimate do-it-all vehicle featuring the new dolce vita style and reconnecting people to each other and nature. It pays homage to the “Fun-ctionality” of the Panda from the 1980s, Fiat claims. For sure, the all-terrain tires and innovative cargo system on the roof promise to open up a ton of possibilities.

Campeur
