Consumers are embracing electrified vehicles for a number of reasons. In addition to saving money on fuel, reducing one’s carbon footprint is certainly among them.
Of course, the extraction of raw materials and production of batteries is generating a ton of emissions, but that’s a debate for another day. Here, we simply want to highlight the vehicles that have the lowest CO2 emissions in Canada—excluding pure EVs, of course.
For the record, CO2 is not the only cause of greenhouse gas emissions coming from internal combustion engines, but in order to compile this top 10, we used CO2 levels as posted by Natural Resources Canada.
