2013 Toyota RAV4: Sugar-Free Candy

The roof rails make the RAV4 seem taller than it actually is.

The trunk opening is large and the hatch is easy to handle. Note that the Limited version that we were driving had an electric opening/closure.

Under the window of the hatch, there’s a horizontal strip. Great idea!

The Limited version has all the safety features including this blind spot monitor.

The dashboard is easy to understand and use.

At night, the gauges turn a lovely bluish colour.

This design is very modern, so why would they put a super-ordinary analog clock in the upper part?

Eco and Sport modes, heated seats and windshield, and auxiliary, USB and 12-Volt jacks.

There’s no shortage of head and leg room.

The rear seat backs are in place, the trunk capacity is 1,087 litres.

And when the seat backs are down, the trunk can hold almost double: 2,076 litres.

The high-end JBL audio system doesn’t take up too much room in the trunk and its sound is quite decent.
