2025 Ram ProMaster EV Orders Open Starting Under $80,000 in Canada

The new Ram ProMaster EV cargo van can now be ordered in Canada with a starting retail price of $76,995 (plus $2,895 destination). It will arrive at dealerships this spring.

Much has been said about the upcoming Ram 1500 Ramcharger and Ram 1500 REV pickups, but this is the purpose-built, highly customizable electric truck that many commercial customers have been waiting for.

"Our freedom of choice approach with powertrain extends to the Ram Professional lineup with an appropriate solution for last-mile delivery in the Ram ProMaster EV," said Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis. "With front-wheel drive and a low step-in height, the ProMaster is a solid player and continues to perform well in a wide variety of business sectors such as the growing home delivery environment, construction services wholesale & IT Services among others.”

The new Ram ProMaster EV has a targeted range of up to 263 km thanks to a standard 110kWh battery pack.

Two configurations are available including step van and cargo van. The latter is available with a 12-foot cargo length or an extended 13-foot cargo length (both with 159-inch wheelbases). It features up to 3,020 lbs of payload while the step van configuration offers 2,876 lbs of payload before options and upfit.

Output is rated at 268 horsepower and backed by 302 lb-ft of torque. The ProMaster EV is FWD only. The battery is positioned under the floor in the centre of the vehicle, which maintains a flat floor while cargo volume is unchanged from internal combustion engine vehicles.

Competitors include the Ford E-Transit (254 km of range), Chevrolet BrightDrop 400/600 (up to 437 km) and Mercedes-Benz eSprinter (370 km).
