2026 Genesis GV60 Goes Under the Knife, Gets 27-Inch Display

Following the lead of its less glamourous cousins from Hyundai and Kia, the Genesis GV60 is getting a mid-cycle update of its own. The difference here is that the changes will apply to the 2026 model rather than the 2025 model.

The first official pictures out of South Korea show a subtly refreshed exterior. Up front, the bumper is redesigned with a dynamic, three-dimensional shape, while the headlamps newly feature Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology.

Meanwhile, the 21-inch wheels feature a sporty new five-spoke design complementing the wheel arch cladding and rear bumper garnish that now come in the same colour as the body. While not specified in the press release on Monday, it’s expected that the charging door on the right rear fender hides an NACS connector allowing the GV60 to plug directly into Tesla’s Superchargers

That being said, the most striking change can be found inside the vehicle. Instead of two 12.3-inch displays with a blank space between them, there’s a single 27-inch interface powered by Genesis’ connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccIC) infotainment system.

Furthermore, the company claims the integration of the upper part of the crash pad contributes to an interior design that gives a more spacious feel. A new three-spoke steering wheel adds a sporty touch to the cabin, too. Look for new interior materials and colours, but whether or not that Bugatti-like blue will be available in Canada remains to be seen.

The 2026 Genesis GV60 should land on our shores late in 2025 or early next year. More information including powertrain details are going to be announced before then. We already know that battery capacity will increase from 77.4 kWh to 84 kWh, extending maximum range to more than 400 km. A high-performance GV60 Magma is also expected to debut and enter production this year.

Incidentally, if you prefer a more conventional and more spacious SUV, the 2026 Genesis Electrified GV70 has been updated, as well. It will go on sale in the first half of 2025.
