2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T Joins Refreshed Lineup, Adds Cabriolet
Hot on the heels of the new 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring, here comes the refreshed 911 Carrera T, still the lightest configuration available in the entire 911 lineup at just 1,478 kilograms.
And for the first time, customers will have the opportunity to order it as a cabriolet.

Hail the Manual
We’ll start with the exterior design, which includes a sticker with the shift pattern logo on each of the triangular rear windows and model designations (on the rear) in a contrasting colour called Vanadium Grey. The same colour is applied to the inlays on the rear lid grille, the upper and lower trim of the mirror caps and the machine-polished light alloy wheels.
Another feature of the Carrera T is the aerodynamically optimized spoiler lip taken from the 911 Carrera GTS. In addition to the wide array of paint colours, the top of the cabriolet is optionally available in Black, Red, Blue or Brown.
Inside, a number of unique details emphasize the exclusivity of the 911 Carrera T as a manual sports car. For instance, the shortened stick is topped with an open-pore walnut laminated wood gear knob, which offers a special visual and tactile experience. Just in front is a badge with the ‘MT’ (Manual Transmission) logo, while the shift pattern logo is printed on the passenger side of the dashboard.
The list of standard equipment also includes the leather-upholstered and heated GT sports steering wheel (a Race-Tex steering wheel is available), decorative inlays in Vanadium Grey and four-way power adjustable sports seats in black with Sport-Tex seat centres. The tartan fabric pattern of the interior is exclusively reserved for the 911 Carrera T. Customers can specify the 18-way adjustable Adaptive Sports Seats Plus or particularly light full bucket seats as options.
No Diet for These Horses
The 2025 911 Carrera T is motivated by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder boxer engine that now delivers 388 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque, all of which is transferred to the rear axle by way of a six-speed manual transmission (lighter than Porsche’s seven-speed unit). With the standard Sport Chrono Package, the coupe sprints from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and the convertible does it in 4.7 seconds.
Extra power requires bigger brakes, so look for 350mm discs all around with six-piston fixed calipers at the front. A sports exhaust system also comes standard.
For the first time, Porsche is equipping the model with rear-axle steering as standard in combination with a more direct steering ratio on the front axle, which results in significantly optimizing handling. Lateral acceleration is generated faster, while stability is increased at the same time.
One last item to mention is the PASM adaptive sports suspension, which is lowered by 10 mm and has been given model-specific tuning to make the Carrera T even more agile and even better to drive. It is anchored by 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Carrera S light-alloy wheels.
How Much?
The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T can be ordered right now at a starting price of $149,200 for the coupe and $165,300 for the Cabriolet. Deliveries in Canada will begin in the summer of 2025.
