2025 GMC Sierra EV Launching This Fall in Denali Trim, Pricing Announced
Hot on the heels of the Chevrolet Silverado EV, which has finally hit the road in Canada, the GMC Sierra EV will land in dealerships later this fall as a 2025 model in top-line Denali trim.
The company has shared more details about its newest electric pickup including the ability to choose between an Extended Range version with up to an estimated 628 km of range on a full charge, and the available Max Range version with up to an estimated 740 km of range. By comparison, the Silverado EV offers up to 792 km of range for the 2025 model year.

Using an 800V electric architecture, the Sierra EV is able to regain 160 km of range in as little as 10 minutes, GMC claims, but only when plugged into one of those extremely rare 350kW DC fast chargers.
When it comes to performance, look for 760 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque in Max Power mode. Towing capacity is rated at up to 10,500 lbs. Meanwhile, the MultiPro MidGate expandable bed offers room for hauling items nearly 11 feet in length while still leaving room for a rear-seat passenger. Don’t forget the 311-litre frunk under the hood.
The Sierra EV Denali rides on massive 24-inch wheels, which sure sounds like a problem for ride quality. However, keep in mind that the Air Ride adaptive suspension provides the ability to raise or lower the truck by about 2 inches while also offering a more comfortable ride.
Customers have a selection of six body colours including Summit White, Thunderstorm Gray, Onyx Black, Dark Ember Tintcoat, Deep Ocean Metallic and Moonlight Matte.
How much? Well, the Sierra EV Denali starts at an all-in price of $118,599 for the Extended version and $122,599 for the Max Range version (federal luxury tax included). That’s awfully expensive, albeit not as much as a Tesla Cybertruck Foundation Series. GMC says cheaper Sierra EV models including Elevation and AT4 will join the Denali sometime in the first half of 2025. Pricing for those has yet to be announced.
