Ford Has a Trick to Give Your Raptor a Lot More Power and Torque
Great news for existing and future owners of a Bronco Raptor or Ranger Raptor: Ford has an easy fix to give either vehicle a serious dose of muscle.
What is it? Just a new software calibration for the 3.0-litre EcoBoost V6 engine available via Ford Performance Parts.

With the 2023 and 2024 Bronco Raptor, max power increases from 418 hp to 455 hp and torque jumps from 440 lb-ft to a whopping 536 lb-ft. Likewise, the 2024 Ranger Raptor can go from 405 hp to 455 hp and from 430 lb-ft of torque to 536 lb-ft. Needless to say premium gasoline is required in both cases to achieve these numbers.
In addition, the upgrade allows for improved throttle response and an optimized shift schedule, Ford claims.
The Bronco Raptor Calibration and the Ranger Raptor Calibration can be purchased online for $825 USD and installed at a local dealer. They are available for U.S. and Canada vehicles only (except in California due to emission regulations) and are covered by a 3-year/60,000-km warranty.
