2024 Acura ZDX Pricing Announced for Canada Ahead of First Deliveries
With deliveries of the 2024 Acura ZDX expected to begin in Canada later this spring, pricing details were finally announced today.
This brand new luxury electric SUV, which is related to the Honda Prologue and developed with the help of General Motors, is available in two trim levels. First, the ZDX A-Spec starts at $88,560 (including freight, PDI and other fees) and obviously isn’t eligible to any EV incentives.

For that hefty sum of money, customers get 490 horsepower and 437 lb-ft of torque from a dual-motor system with all-wheel drive. Maximum range is estimated at 489 km.
Meanwhile, the sportier ZDX Type S retails from $94,760, and while output is only increased to 500 horsepower, peak torque jumps to 544 lb-ft—more than what the late NSX Type S hybrid supercar delivered. Range naturally drops in the process, settling at 447 km.
Standard content on the 2024 Acura ZDX includes the brand’s first integration of Google built-in as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. The ZDX is also the first Acura model to feature the immersive audio experience of Bang & Olufsen luxury audio. As for the 102kWh battery, it offers DC fast charging capability of up to 190 kW, netting an estimated 100 km of range in approximately 10 minutes.
In Type S trim, look for a black-painted roof, high-performance Brembo brakes (with eye-catching six-piston yellow calipers up front), height-adjustable air suspension and 22-inch machine-finished wheels—the largest ever for an Acura model.
From the comfort of perforated Milano leather seats, you’ll be able to customize the driving experience with multiple drive modes, including a Sport mode that enables maximum acceleration and response.
One last thing: Acura will help customers select, order and have a licensed professional install an Acura charger in their home and to find and use available public chargers on the road. An online platform has been launched precisely for that.
The ZDX’s main competitors include the Audi Q8 e-tron, BMW iX, Cadillac Lyriq, Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV, Polestar 3, VinFast VF 8 and Tesla Model X. We'll have a review in the coming months, so watch this space.
