2024 Buick Envision Gets New Tech and Styling
The Buick Envision saw a 9.8% increase in sales in 2023, and receives a significant design update for 2024, not to mention more technology inside and out. Visually, the Envision harmonizes with the rest of the range by borrowing the new Buick front-end inspired by the Wildcat concept, along with the hook-shaped headlights and taillights. The rear end features a new design with updated badging and a wider stance. Two new body colours are offered: Calypso Blue Metallic and Smokey Amethyst Metallic. New 20-inch wheels come as standard on ST versions - with a Carbon Flash Metallic finish - and Avenir, with a Pearl Nickel shade. The entry-level model is fitted with 18-inch wheels.
A Huge Screen
The modernized cabin features a curved 30-inch screen that includes instrumentation and infotainment. The integration of Google will allow drivers to manage several parameters, including navigation. The Technology 1 package throws in a nine-speaker Bose Premium audio system and a head-up display.

Otherwise, the seats have been redesigned and the centre console revamped. Ample ambient LED lighting accentuates the ambience with a palette of available colours. The steering wheel has also been redesigned, with ST models boasting a flat-bottom unit.
For optimum comfort, Buick QuietTuning Technology reduces distracting and noises through the integration of strategically placed insulating materials. Active noise suppression - provided by the speakers - sends out reverse sound waves to attenuate exterior nuisances and sounds.
In terms of power, the Envision uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that develops 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. It's mated to a nine-speed transmission, and all-wheel drive comes as standard. The Envision 2024 is due to arrive in dealerships this summer. Three variants will be offered, starting with the Preferred ($45,670 including freight and preparation). With its sportier styling, the ST starts at $47,870, while at the top of the range, the Avenir is priced at $53,770.
