Good News for Fans of Jeep’s Two-Door Wrangler
Like we told you recently, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler is not only updated and available in a larger number of models, but it’s also significantly more expensive than its predecessor. That was to be expected, of course.
We’re happy to report some good news today: customers opting for the standard, two-door Wrangler can have it with beefy 35-inch tires for the first time ever.

The Xtreme 35 Tire Package, which initially debuted on the four-door Wrangler in 2021, is available exclusively on Willys and Rubicon models with the turbocharged 2.0-litre engine. It also includes 17x8-inch, beadlock-capable wheels, a 1.5-inch suspension lift with uniquely tuned shocks and a 4.56:1 axle ratio. There’s also a reinforced swing gate to carry the spare tire.
Many Wrangler owners have made the upgrade themselves in the past, but now Jeep is offering 35-inch BFGoodrich KO2 tires (LT315/70R17C) straight from the factory with a factory warranty.
With the new rubber, the two-door Wrangler achieves approach, breakover and departure angles of 47.2 degrees, 32.4 degrees and 40.4 degrees, respectively (the breakover angle is better than the two-door Ford Bronco’s). Ground clearance is increased to 12.6 inches and water fording height rises to 34 inches.
In Canada, the Xtreme 35 Tire Package carries a price of $4,995. It comes standard on the new two-door Wrangler Rubicon X with turbocharged engine, which starts at $79,905 (plus $2,095 destination). Production will begin in the spring.
