These Are the Vehicles Consumers Like the Most and the Least in 2024

Sales charts tell you a lot of things, like which vehicles are the most popular among consumers, but not the whole story. That’s why U.S. magazine Consumer Reports conducts a yearly survey to find out the models that people like the most and the least. Its latest rankings are out, based on the feedback of some 300,000 owners and lessees of MY2021-2024 vehicles.

The team used criteria like price, performance, reliability, comfort, enjoyment and more, then came up with a satisfaction score based on the percentage of customers who responded "definitely yes" to the question of whether they would buy the same vehicle if they had it to do all over again.

Remember, the most satisfying models aren’t necessarily the best on the market. They may not rate well on other measures such as crashworthiness or long-term reliability.

So, which vehicles made the list this year? You can find them below. While U.S. and Canadian consumers don’t have all the same needs and preferences, we believe a majority would agree on the results.
