2024 Cadillac LYRIQ Offers More Selection, Nearly the Same Base Price

Cadillac’s first fully electric vehicle, the LYRIQ crossover, wasted no time filling its order books for the inaugural model year, so customers that were left out had to put their names on a waiting list for the 2024 model.

As we reported in March, a few changes and improvements are in store. First, the lineup is expanded to three main trim levels: Techno, Luxury and Sport. Buyers will also be able to choose from eight body colours and four interior trims.

Unlike the 2023 model, all 2024 LYRIQs come with a standard 11.5kW charging module, while the 19.2kW module is optional. According to Natural Resources Canada, the maximum range provided by the 102kWh battery is rated at 505 km (single motor, RWD) or 494 km (dual motors, AWD).

As for performance, depending on the configuration, you’re looking at either 340 horsepower and 325 lb-ft. of torque, or 500 horsepower and 450 lb-ft. of torque.

2024 Cadillac LYRIQ Pricing

Now, how much does the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ cost? GM Canada has confirmed pricing details, which you can find below (MSRP):

  • Tech 1 RWD - $68,699
  • Luxury 1 RWD - $71,899
  • Luxury 2 RWD - $76,899
  • Luxury 3 RWD - $81,199
  • Sport 1 RWD - $71,899
  • Sport 2 RWD - $76,899
  • Sport 3 RWD -$81,199

The option of AWD is a $4,000 extra. In any case, the 2024 LYRIQ is too expensive to qualify for the $5,000 EV rebate from the federal government.

By the way, Luxury models add a 19.2kW AC on-board charger, black painted roof with panoramic power opening sunroof, Super Cruise hands-free driving assistance technology, Nappa Leather Package, 19-speaker AKG Studio audio system, front seat ventilation and lumbar massage, and heated second-row outboard seats.

Meanwhile, Sport models include all of the above plus a unique Sport illuminated front grille, body-coloured door handles and Obsidian Chrome finishes with dark accent finishes.

One last thing we need to mention is that Cadillac will cover standard installation of a Level 2 charging outlet for customers who purchase or lease a new 2024 LYRIQ and take delivery by December 31, 2023. Alternative charger offers are available, too.

Production of the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ began earlier this month and GM says the assembly line is picking up speed.
