“Gran Turismo” Official Trailer is Out and We’re Pumped
The highly successful Gran Turismo video game franchise will finally move to the big screen this summer, with a release in North American theatres planned on August 11.
The movie will tell the true story of a British teenager, Jann Mardenborough, whose gaming skills not only won him a number of competitions but also a career as an actual professional race car driver in various series.

Sony Pictures today released the official trailer to get enthusiasts’ heart racing:
Directed by Neill Blomkamp (Distric 9, Elysium), Gran Turismo stars Archie Madekwe in the leading role. The script is different from the one that started taking shape a decade ago as well as the second iteration developed in 2015 but cancelled three years later.
Our first impressions are quite positive and many people agree based on the comments we’ve seen so far on YouTube and social media following the release of the trailer above. If the rest of the movie is just as good, we’ll be thrilled. Just over three months to go to find out!
In the meantime, don’t forget that Fast X is coming up real soon (May 19) packed with more incredible cars and logic-defying stunts.
