Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles With the Best Value in 2022
The research and analysis firm Vincentric recently announced their Best Certified Pre-Owned Value in Canada Awards. This is especially relevant in the current market, where used vehicles are subject to a high demand because of delivery and supply problems with new vehicles.
Selected after the evaluation of more than 14,000 models and configurations, the winners are those that have the lowest cost of ownership (fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, depreciation, etc.) according to their price.

For 2020, Toyota is the car brand that offers the best value for certified pre-owned models, according to Vincentric, while Audi ranks first in luxury cars. On the SUV and crossover side, Hyundai is the most popular name, while Lincoln leads the luxury brands. Lastly, Jeep surpasses Ford as the best truck and 4x4 brand.
Toyota’s success can be explained by models like the Corolla (including the hybrid version), of course, but also by the Prius C and the Avalon. For Hyundai, the Kona electric, the Venue and the Palisade are the highlights of their respective categories.
Audi takes the lead in the segments where we find the A7, RS 5 and e-tron. Also note that in the heavy duty pickup category, the Ford F-350 won the best value title for the fourth year in a row.
