2024 Chevy Equinox EV Interior Teased in New Video
As you probably know by now, a fully electric Chevrolet Equinox EV is coming for 2024 and the automaker showed what it will look like in a series of renderings posted in January. Today, we have a new teaser revealing parts of the interior.
Although still a simulation, the video paints a pretty good picture of the future production model’s forward-thinking cabin.

Once again, we can see that the vehicle looks nothing like the current, gas-powered Equinox and is actually really close to the Silverado EV pickup, also due for 2024.
Turbine-style air vents at each corner of the dashboard, a bridge-type centre console with large cup holders on top and convenient storage underneath, and sleek ambient lighting are some of the features found in the Equinox EV. The video ends with a shot of the digital instrument panel and massive centre touchscreen, the latter similar to the 17-inch display in the Silverado EV. The odometer reads 48,211 miles—could this be a clue about the vehicle’s specs or just a random number? We don’t know.
When GM execs announced the Equinox EV, they said the vehicle will launch in the fall of 2023 with a base MSRP of around $35,000 CAD before incentives. This would make it even more affordable than both the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV. Unlike these two small EVs, it will ride on GM’s Ultium platform, so it will likely be able to provide longer range. There will be fleet and retail variants, including LT and RS trims. Super Cruise hands-free assist will be available.
The Chevrolet Equinox EV will follow the Blazer SS, which is due to hit the market in the spring of 2023. We have no idea yet how much this one will cost, but GM president Mark Reuss has promised that both SUVs will be affordable, high-volume products.
