Apocalypse Warlord 6x6 is Your Ram 1500 TRX for the End of Time
A number of tuners have already worked their magic on the almighty Ram 1500 TRX. Today we present you Apocalypse Manufacturing. The Florida-based shop has a heavily modified, six-wheeled variant called Warload 6x6.
One of the few units that currently exist will be up for sale on January 29 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Apocalypse Warload 6x6 may not be a 1,200-horsepower monster like the Mammoth 6x6 by Hennessey, but it cranks the supercharged Hellcat V8 engine’s output up to 797 horsepower, exactly like the Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye muscle cars.
Those 20-inch wheels are wrapped in 37-inch all-terrain tires and attached to a custom suspension system that includes six active and electric Bilstein shocks along with Dana 60 rear axle with lockers.
Overall, the truck is 7.5 metres long, 2.4 metres tall and boasts a ground clearance of nearly 30 centimetres. It can tow loads up to 12,000 pounds. Acceleration times are not specified, but remember that the regular TRX sprints from 0-96 km/h in 4.5 seconds and runs the quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds.
We like the way the “RAM” badges and lettering have been rearranged to form “WAR,” as well as the black and red leather interior with suede accents. Power-folding side steps are basically a must to get into the cabin. Meanwhile, there are eight different drive/traction modes including a Baja mode for high-speed off-road driving. And we bet the full-size spare tire mounted in the cargo bed could come in handy in those situations.
Apocalypse normally charges $250,000 USD for its truck, and the one listed by Barrett-Jackson is offered with no reserve, so the highest bid will be accepted no matter what. Don’t expect it to match the $500,000 USD price Hennessey advertised for its Mammoth 6x6.
