Midsize sedans keep losing momentum and market shares. For 2022, not a single model is new to the segment.

Just like last year, the best purchase you can make in our opinion is the Toyota Camry. This car offers plenty of selection, four- and six-cylinder options including a remarkably efficient hybrid powertrain, plus excellent reliability and low maintenance costs.
There are no major changes to the Camry for 2022, just a couple of new body colours and a Nightshade model with black accents.
Second place in the segment is once again filled by the Subaru Legacy. While much less popular than the Outback wagon it shares many components with, the Legacy is still a solid pick with great build quality, a strong turbocharged engine (optional) and stellar AWD performance.
The Honda Accord wraps up the top 3. Despite the years starting to pile up, the current generation continues to prove competent and pleasant to drive. Just like the Camry, there are no significant changes to report for 2022. The Accord Hybrid may not be talked about a lot, but it’s definitely a good car with impressive fuel economy.
