2023 Ford Ranger Global Reveal Coming Soon
As you know, a brand new Ford Ranger is on the way. Following a first official teaser in early September, we now have confirmation that the reveal will take place pretty soon—November 24, to be exact.
Unlike the current generation based on the T6 chassis, which was designed by Ford Australia initially for markets abroad (it finally landed in North America as a 2019 model), the new Ranger has been developed as a true global vehicle to be sold in more than 180 countries, including Canada and the U.S.

A new video posted by Ford shows that the front end of the midsize pickup will share some design cues with the full-size F-150 and the compact Maverick. Look for a boxier silhouette and more rugged looks than those of the Ranger we already know.
Of course, there will likely be some differences between our model and the one sold overseas, but we’ll still have a pretty good picture come November 24. The new Ranger will be “the toughest, most capable and connected Ranger pickup yet,” Ford claims.
When should we expect the North American debut to take place? It’s anyone’s guess. As for deliveries, don’t hold your breath. It’s now believed that production for our market will start in May 2023.
What’s encouraging is that we should finally get the fearsome Ranger Raptor, possibly with a 2.7-litre EcoBoost V6 producing 315 hp and 410 lb-ft like some Bronco models. Other reports claim it could get the Explorer ST’s 3.0-litre EcoBoost V6, which generates 400 hp and 415 lb-ft.
