How Much Does the New 2021 Lexus IS Cost?
Lexus has officially announced Canadian pricing for the redesigned and slightly re-engineered 2021 IS compact luxury sedan, which also benefits from the new Lexus Safety System+ 2.5.
The base IS 300 RWD F SPORT Series 1 starts at $42,950. It features a 2.0-litre, turbocharged four-cylinder engine (241 horsepower, 258 pound-feet of torque) mated to an eight-speed Sport Direct Shift automatic transmission.
This model includes 19-inch F SPORT wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, eight-way power adjustable front seats and F SPORT design enhancements, as well as a full-TFT gauge cluster inspired by the LFA supercar.
Next up is the IS 300 AWD starting at $43,400—a difference of just $450. Look for a 3.5-litre V6 (260 horsepower, 236 pound-feet of torque) paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
Content includes 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats with eight-way power adjustments, dual-zone automatic climate control, smart key system with push-button start, blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rain sensing wipers.
From here, customers can add various upgrade packages including Premium, Luxury, Ultra-Luxury, F SPORT Series 1 and F SPORT Series 2. Pricing ranges from $43,800 to $49,500.
Finally, the top-line IS 350 F SPORT Series 2 starts at $53,300 and boasts a more potent version of the V6 (311 horsepower, 280 pound-feet of torque). An F SPORT Series 3 package is available at $58,000. It adds the Dynamic Handling Package with unique 19-inch forged BBS wheels, Adaptive Variable Suspension with SPORT+ mode, exclusive triple LED headlamps, a carbon fibre spoiler and carbon fibre mirror caps as well as silver wood interior accents.
The new 2021 Lexus IS will go on sale across Canada later this month, setting up a good match with the equally new 2021 Acura TLX.
