Refreshed 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage Unveiled in North American Premiere
Mitsubishi chose the 2020 Montreal Auto Show to host the North American premiere of the significantly refreshed and updated 2021 Mirage.
While the company recently decided to drop the sedan in Canada, the five-door hatchback soldiers on with a new iteration built in Thailand.

The biggest change can be seen up front. The Mirage now sports a more dynamic fascia similar to the 2020 RVR. The grille, headlights, fog lights and chrome accents have all been redesigned. Meanwhile, the rear section looks wider and more athletic thanks in part to a revamped bumper.
Inside, the infotainment system appears on a new seven-inch display with Apple CarPlay compatibility. You’ll also find more ergonomic armrests, soft materials on many touch points, plus carbon-style trim on the dashboard and near the window switches.
There are no changes under the hood, however. The 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage keeps the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine that unleashes a meager 72 horsepower.
Pricing has yet to be announced, but rest assured it will remain among the most affordable new cars in Canada.
