Chevrolet Announces Pricing for the 2019 Silverado 1500

We now have an idea of how much the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 will cost, which has been thoroughly redesigned and will soon be on sale.

The Silverado 1500 Work Truck Double Cab 2WD will get a base MSRP of $35,000 before freight and delivery charges of $1,795. Then comes the Custom ($37,700), the LT ($40,900) the RST ($44,200) and the LTZ ($50,900), while an extra investment of $1,700 to $3,800 will be needed to step up to a Crew Cab, short bed pickup. The Silverado High Country, only available in Crew Cab configuration, starts at $65,800.

Pricing for Regular Cab versions hasn’t yet been revealed, so an even lower base MSRP should soon been announced. As for the four-wheel-drive variants, which should be much more popular in Canada than the rear-drive trucks, the manufacturer has at least confirmed pricing for the Custom Trail Boss ($43,000) and LT Trail Boss ($52,800), available only as 4x4s, and the LT Crew Cab short bed trim ($46,405). The latter is said to be $1,000 more affordable than its 2018 equivalent.

In comparison, the 2018 Silverado 1500 is offered from $31,145 in regular cab 2WD configuration, and $35,295 in Double Cab format. That’s before the clearance rebates currently available, which can reach as much as $14,930 according to the trim level chosen.

Earlier this year, Chevrolet also published towing and payload capacities for the five powertrains that will be available in the 2019 Silverado 1500. A turbo-diesel, six-cylinder engine will also be added to the lineup at a later date. Here’s a breakdown of the technical details.
