2018 Infiniti QX80: Pricing Announced
After receiving a mild refresh, the 2018 Infiniti QX80 full-size luxury SUV is now available in Canada, and its pricing has just been announced.
The QX80 will start out at $77,350 before freight and delivery charges of $2,045, and the same price will apply to either the seven-passenger version, which gets second-row captain’s chairs, and the eight-passenger variant that boasts a second-row bench seat.
The 2018 Infiniti QX80 receives a facelift, new paint colours and alloy wheel designs as well as some other cosmetic changes. Inside, new trimmings have been added, along with revised interior colour themes and a new, modernised rear-seat entertainment system.
No changes underhood, as the QX80 is still propelled by a 5.6-litre V8 that develops 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, connected to a seven-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system with low range.
The Deluxe Technology Package, which should cost about $8,500 (the exact amount hasn’t yet been published), adds backup collision intervention, blind spot warning, adaptive cruise control, distance control assist, forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning and prevention as well as a new, rearview mirror camera system.
The 2018 Infiniti QX80 costs $1,700 more than the base 2017 model, but starts out at a more affordable price point than the 2018 Lincoln Navigator ($87,500), the 2018 Cadillac Escalade ($86,440), the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLS ($85,000) and the 2018 Lexus LX 570 ($109,600).
