Canadian Premiere: Audi R8 Spyder V10 plus Adds on More Power

The ever-impressive Audi R8 is available in coupe and roadster (aka Spyder) configurations.This sports car has a naturally aspirated V10—meaning no turbo or supercharger. In the “base” version, it delivers 540 horsepower and 398 lb.-ft. of torque. If that’s not enough for you, there’s another version of this engine, simply called plus (with a lowercase P) that generates 610 horsepower and 413 lb.-ft. of torque. Until last year, only the coupe came with that much horsepower. For 2018, the Spyder is joining the “plus” party.
