Canadian Premiere: 2018 Jeep Wrangler Gets More Important Changes That Meets the Eye
by Alain Morin
One of the best-known vehicles in the world has been updated for 2018. The new generation will be known as the JL and will replace the aging JK. At first glance, it seems like the new Jeep doesn’t offer many changes, but it’s worth taking a closer look. For example, the front grille is a little more inclined to improve aerodynamics. The engine remains a 285-horsepower 3.6L V6, but a four-cylinder turbo is also available with 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft of torque at 3000 rpm. You also get to choose between a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The Wrangler’s off-road capabilities are as impressive as ever.
