GMC unveils 2017 Canyon Denali
The GMC Canyon Denali, "the first and only premium midsize truck" on the market, is set to go on sale in late 2016, the automaker announced ahead of the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Available on crew cab models in either rear- or four-wheel drive, the Canyon Denali is based on the truck GM launched earlier this year, and sports a unique chrome grille and unique 20-inch ultra-bright-machined aluminum wheels.
Denali-specific exterior cues include chrome fog lamp bezels, chrome side steps, a polished exhaust tip, and a standard spray-in bed liner.
Inside, an all-black interior is highlighted by leather seats that are heated and ventilated up front seats, and a unique instrument panel.
Standard technologies include forward collision and lane departure warnings.
GMC said the Canyon Denali will be available with the all-new 2.8-litre Duramax turbo-diesel.
Pricing will be announced closer to launch.
