Hyundai to detail new 'N' performance brand in Frankfurt
Hyundai plans to showcase its new 'N' performance sub-brand at the Frankfurt motor show next month, including a mid-range concept car based on the Veloster hatchback.
The N sub-brand, which builds on Hyundai's "successful motorsport experiences and technology capability," will drive future performance-oriented models in the automaker's lineup.
The N brand also builds on not Hyundai's participation in the World Rally Championship and its "dedication and investment to create striking and pioneering high performance cars," according to the automaker.
"It capitalizes on Hyundai's fast-growing strength and signifies the pace of change within the brand, matching the company’s ambition to challenge perceptions by making real and emotional connections with customers," it continued.
On display alongside the RM15 concept, which is powered by a mid-mounted, 295-horsepower 2.0-litre engine, will by the next generation Hyundai i20 WRC rally car, and the Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo, something the automaker is calling "the ultimate concept car."
The Frankfurt motor show runs Sept. 17 to 27.
