There is a Supercharged Viper... But it isn't from Dodge
Currently, the most powerful vehicle in Dodge's lineup is the Hellcat duo. Boasting 707 horsepower, these big cars can embarrass supercars with a much larger price tag.
However, this leaves the Viper in an awkward position: the coupe enters its last year of production, but its 645 horsepower are not as impressive as they used to be... Especially since they come from a gargantuan 8.4-litre V10. Since the Viper is on its last lap, it makes sense for Dodge to not give it more power.

Hennessey, however, has no problem helping Viper owners that need more juice: not only does he offer an optimization kit, bumping output to 705 hp and torque to 695 pound-feet, AND a twin-turbo setup that makes up to 1000 horsepower, the Texas tuner just launched a supercharger kit. This new Viper Venom 800 makes 808 horsepower and 790 pound-feet of torque. With a set of racing tires, it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and should cover the quarter mile in 10.5 seconds.
Like all Hennessey products, the Viper Venom 800 comes with a one year/19,000-km warranty.
