Another Day, Another Pagani Zonda
At the beginning of 2014, I started my career at The Car Guide. One of the first news I posted on the website was about the launch of the Pagani Zonda Revolucion; this car, which was shown at the Geneva Auto Show, was heralded as the last Zonda. From now on, the manufacturer was set on building more and more Huayras.
However, in the last two years, a bunch of new Zondas came out for rich buyers. Pagani created the 760RSJX, the 760RS, the 760LH and the 760 Le Mans.
Well, there is another one, the Zonda MD. What’s special about it?
The name comes from the buyer’s initials, who wished to remain anonymous. The carbon fibre body is visible and covered in a blue sheen. Compared to other Zondas, this version features less aerodynamic winglets. It is almost subtle… for a Pagani. The car boasts a unique nose thanks to some unique air intakes. Under the hood, there is a nice surprise: a manual transmission! This makes it the second Zonda 760 with a clutch pedal—the other one belongs to Lewis Hamilton.
