End Of The (Production) Line For The McLaren P1
In case you were still weighing the pros and cons of getting a McLaren P1 (Pros: unbelievable performance, positive resale value, fuel-saving hybrid power; Cons: $1.2 million price tag, difficult to find winter tires), I got bad news for you. Earlier this month, the last copy of the English hypercar rolled off the assembly line, completing the production run of 375 units.
While production started in 2013, the plant has been churning them non-stop to meet demand: the car was so popular that by the time they started building the very first one, they had already taken deposits on the whole production!
Now that every P1 has been sold, you will have to check out the used market if you still want one: a quick Internet search revealed that there are only three available in the world: two in the UAE (sold at an undisclosed price) and one in Los Angeles.
