More Mercedes-Benz C-Class Models Coming
In addition to the current-generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan, which was introduced last year, and the redesigned 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe on sale starting next spring, the German automaker will further broaden their C family in Canada.
After the Coupe is launched, a wagon version will be reintroduced to the Canadian market. We’ve haven’t had a C-Class Estate for a while, but the new one will combine a diesel engine, a seven-speed automatic and 4MATIC all-wheel-drive. It will likely be equipped with the most powerful diesel currently available in the C-Class, a turbocharged 2.1L four that develops 200 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. There is a Mercedes-AMG C 63 Estate in Europe, but we probably won’t get it.

What’s also planned for Canada is a new C-Class Cabriolet, which should soon be launched in Europe now that the Coupe has hit the market. We’re expecting it to be available in C 300 and C 450 variants, but an AMG version may or may not happen.
And that’s in addition to the other model lines that will soon be redesigned, such as the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS full-size SUV (previously known as the GL-Class), the 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC roadster (previously known as the SLK) and the new 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class in coupe, sedan, wagon and cabriolet models.
