The Kia Forte Koup Mud Bogger Will Be At SEMA
The Kia Forte is an honest and nice little compact; while the coupe version isn’t the most fun to drive, it features lots of standard equipment and it’s possible to find one with exactly what you want in it.
Until today however, there wasn’t anything in the Forte lineup that would appeal to people who need to ford a river to get to work; an important oversight, if you ask me.

This is why Kia will show a modified version designed just for that at the SEMA Show!
Built for playing in the mud, the Forte Koup Mud Bogger has been lifted four inches compared to stock. It also features 28-inch tires, larger fenders to accommodate said tires, a tubular bumper and an LED light bar. Inside, most of the plastics have been removed, the seats have been replaced with Sparco units and the floor is coated in Line-X, which is typically found in the bed of pickup trucks. For added safety, a rollcage –painted white to match the wheels– has also been added.
Kia obviously has no intention of ever selling this car; it is only a publicity stunt to get people into their booth… and it might just work!
