Range Rover Evoque Convertible Ready To Go
Land Rover calls its new model the most capable convertible in the world. They’ve obviously never heard of the Jeep Wrangler.
Anyhow, the Range Rover Evoque Convertible will make its official world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, a fitting scene for a droptop luxury SUV. The English brand just released some footage of the Evoque in the midst of its off-road testing, which unsurprisingly, it passed with flying colours.
It’s based on the three-door Coupe version of the Evoque which is no longer available in Canada, and will use a power-folding soft top that will let the sun shine over the four-passenger cockpit. Under the hood, the turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine delivers 240 horsepower and 250 lb-ft, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission, just like in the five-door Evoque.
Following its L.A. reveal, the Range Rover Evoque Convertible will be on sale in the spring of 2016.
