The Super Auto Show Is Just Around The Corner!
Mont-Saint-Hilaire, September 3rd, 2015 — On September 12th, you’re invited to experience an automotive dream come true at the ICAR Circuit in Mirabel. Le Guide de l’auto is organizing this extraordinary event to celebrate its 50th anniversary. New partners have joined our long list of sponsors to make this day a huge success.
Ford Canada and Mazda Canada await you in the manufacturer’s area, and are bringing test vehicles for demos on the city-style urban track. Polissage et Placage GG Inc. will also be there with a fully restored 1958 Chrysler Imperial. The Starlight Foundation will be showcasing a number of supercars and Montreal Racing is coming with a convoy of more than 200 vehicles. Meanwhile, Campagna Motors will let the public try out their T-REX.
Visitors can check out the Nissan Micra Cup demonstrations, Groupe Network’s vintage Mustang races and an Aston Martin lapping on the track. You can also test drive cars from Chrysler, Ford, Mazda, Nissan and Tesla on the urban track. Treat your eyes to TOTAL’s F1 car and Kevin Lacroix’s NASCAR vehicle, then see the hot rods from Dan’s Rod Shop.
You won’t want to miss grill master Steven Raichlen’s workshop, featuring his real man’s menu cooked entirely on the barbecue. There will be plenty of contests taking place throughout the site, including chances to win a lap around the track in an exotic car along with the authors of Le Guide de l’auto. Door prizes will also be awarded. Towards the end of the day, we’ll hold the awards ceremony for the Le Guide de l’auto’s first-ever Elegance Contest, which will culminate with a parade around the track.
The Super Auto Show has partnered with Le Journal de Montréal, its exclusive newspaper, and Rythme FM 105.7, its exclusive radio station. Tickets are available at www.superautoshow.ca. A portion of proceeds will go to foundations that help kids stay in school. Several partners have already confirmed that they will be backing the event, including: H.
