Minor Touches For The 2016 Fiat 500
The stylish little Fiat 500 receives a slew of upgrades for 2016. While none of them are immediately visible, the manufacturer states that there have been more than 1,800 changes.
Instead of making a long list of every single difference, I’ll just group together some of the most obvious ones:
- The headlights are more ovoid, and are now circled by LEDs
- The trapezoidal part of the front bumper is now prominent and receives chrome bars on either side of the Fiat logo
- On the Lounge models, there are large chrome strips on both sides of the grille’s base, and said grille is now circled by chrome
- The rear lights are all-new, as are the backup lights
- New 15 and 16-inch wheels are offered, as well as two new colours
- The interior has been updated with Chrysler’s Uconnect system accessible via a 5-inch screen
- There is a new steering wheel and different seats
- Engine choice will probably not change a lot, so expect the 1.4-litre engine to return
