BMW Unveils The 2016 435i ZHP
Aficionados of Bavarian coupes will remember the ZHP moniker. Available as an option package on the E46 (2003-2006) BMW 3 Series, it was intended for those who wanted more performance without stepping all the way up to the M3: with a body kit, stiffer suspension, and a more aggressive camshaft providing a higher redline, this car was the perfect middle-ground between the plain 3-Series and the M models.
Now, BMW has decided to launch a new version of the ZHP performance package for the latest 4 Series. Created by combining a few options and accessories from the M division, the package includes:
- Also: 2015 BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe: Move Over 3 Series
- Also: Limited-Run BMW M4 To Honor 2014 DTM Championship Win
- 18-inch wheels
- 4-piston brakes up front and 2-piston calipers at the back
- M adaptative suspension
- M variable steering
- Limited-slip M differential
- Various engine enhancements, giving the car 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque (317 for those who choose a manual transmission)
- Sport exhaust
- And a unique body kit
Only 100 cars will be built, and pricing will be announced shortly before production.
