Top Gear's Last Episodes Will Be Aired
Good news for Top Gear aficionados: after announcing that Jeremy Clarkson had been sacked by the BBC and that the series would likely not continue -since co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May both announced that they wanted to form a united front with Clarkson- we were skeptical about the series' future. But now we have a reason to remain hopeful. It seems that the BBC will at least show us the last episodes of the current series.
These shows will be different from what we are used to, though: they won't have any studio bits, since these are usually filmed just a few days before the first airing. Hammond and May were reportedly approached to film these, but refused.

There are no official air dates yet, but the BBC stated that they will broadcast them sometime during the summer.
As for the future of Top Gear, things are uncertain: the firm said that they intended to continue producing the show and developing it, but there have been no announcements about who would be the head figures.
