Another Beautiful Car By Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera
The coachwork car market has always been thriving. Ever since the first days of the automobile you could go to a workshop and ask for a vehicle tailored to your tastes.
Today, this segment is somewhat smaller, but the most prominent shops are still out there. One of them, Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, just unveiled their latest creation at the Geneva Motor Show, and we can now feast our eyes on the Berlinetta Lusso, which is based on the mundane Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
The sleek bodywork has been created from scratch; using carbon fibre and aluminium, more than 5,000 hours were spent sculpting the lines of the car. The azure blue (Azzuro Niourlague) paint is eye-catching, and the beige leather interior complements the vehicle’s style nicely.
Under the hood, the F12 drivetrain is unchanged, which means that the 6.1-litre V12 is still screaming away, sending power through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
To make sure the buyers won’t see a car similar to theirs every city block, only 5 examples will be produced. Pricing has not been announced, but you probably don’t have the means to get one.
